About The Position

The Pashto Video-Telephone Interpreter handles on-demand audio and video calls and interprets conversations between Pashto and English speakers. The role serves clients across industries including healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel and hospitality, general business, law enforcement, courts, and 911 services. Interpreters convey meaning accurately and promptly, use appropriate terminology and professional protocol, and remain sensitive to cultural differences. The role involves verbal interpretation, not written translation. This is a remote work-at-home position in the United States. The interpreter works from a quiet, secure home-office environment, participates in online training, and delivers services using an approved dedicated device and company software. Interpreters must maintain professional, neutral, and accurate service throughout scheduled hours. The company provides paid professional interpreter training, ongoing development, interpreter support, and advancement opportunities. The position pays $17–$21 per hour, subject to applicable state or local minimum-wage requirements.
