About The Position

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, the Parts Warehouse person is responsible for parts in the warehouse. The role packs and ships orders, receives and shelves parts, transports inventory using a powered industrial forklift, and loads and unloads freight trucks. It also involves preparing core and warranty items for return, performing cycle counts, and keeping the warehouse area safe, clean, and organized. Other duties may be required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
