About The Position

The Parts Warehouse Specialist performs customer service and stocking duties related to parts sales, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. The role supports the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the parts department by maintaining inventory and managing shipping and receiving using available resources. The specialist also maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment. The position pays $22–$28 per hour. The employee is eligible for profit sharing based on department profitability and individual performance, receives a comprehensive benefits package, and has access to training, development, and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Knowledge of a parts operating system is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Communicate freight charges and shipment status.
Manage incoming part shipments, including loading and unloading as applicable.
Maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
Follow RDO Equipment Co. transactional processing procedures.
Use dealership equipment, including forklifts, and other resources safely and proficiently.
Assist with inventory control and report discrepancies.
Ensure internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner by following company procedures.
Receive, ship, and store parts in accordance with applicable DOT local, state, and federal guidelines.
Stay current on industry and product information.
Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors as needed.
Mark and store parts in the stockroom according to the established system and assist with cycle counts.
Follow safety rules and regulations and comply with company policies and procedures.
Present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. to customers and the community.
Seek and participate in company-sponsored training to develop knowledge and skills.
Participate in company- and location-driven communications, including meetings and huddles.
Maintain positive, professional working relationships and demonstrate teamwork and customer service.
Perform other duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
