About The Position

The Parts Warehouse position at the Houston Store is responsible for managing and distributing automotive or industrial parts inventory. The role ensures parts are accurately received, stored, and dispatched to meet customer and operational needs. It requires attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy and support the supply chain, while working with sales, service, and logistics teams to ensure parts availability and customer satisfaction. The position supports smooth warehouse operations and high service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a parts warehouse or automotive/industrial parts environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
• Forklift certification or other relevant equipment operation licenses.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store parts systematically to optimize warehouse space and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment or in-store pickup.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and conduct regular stock audits.
• Coordinate with sales and service departments to fulfill parts requests and resolve discrepancies.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory replenishment and communicate low stock levels to management.
