About The Position

The Wholesale Parts Stockperson receives and verifies incoming orders and ensures that parts are stocked and recorded according to dealership standards. The position supports parts handling, inventory organization, shipping and receiving records, and upkeep of the department's bins, equipment, and storage areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet the company's requirements for employment.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in a dealership position.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
• Ability to use a parts department computer system and calculator.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify orders and quantities.
• Fill “will call” orders.
• Pick parts for counter salesmen.
• Maintain receiving and shipping records.
• Break out and organize shipments for stocking.
• Assist with putting up stock.
• Assist with maintenance of bins and equipment.
• Assist with arranging the department, including moving bins as needed.
• Supervise returned parts and maintain a separate storage area for them.
• Keep bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled.
