About The Position

The Paramedic supports emergency services by performing basic patient care duties and assisting with direct patient care. The role provides support services to patients, families, and Emergency Services staff, including therapeutic treatment as ordered by the physician on duty, operation of laboratory equipment, and patient discharge and education. The position supports Methodist Health System’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required) or National EMT-P Certification.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of work-related experience is preferred.
