About The Position
South Shore Subaru, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is hiring an Automotive Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support its dealership Parts Department. The role receives, inspects, organizes, and distributes automotive parts and supplies; processes shipments; maintains accurate inventory records; and ensures items are stored and delivered appropriately. Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred, while candidates with warehouse, inventory, or shipping and receiving experience are encouraged to apply. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturday availability. Pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience.

- Willingness to learn automotive parts operations and dealership procedures.
- Ability to handle, organize, and move automotive parts and materials.
- A valid driver's license may be required for parts pickup and delivery duties.

- Previous automotive parts, dealership, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing automotive parts shipments.
- Compare shipment contents against invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
- Package, label, and secure parts and merchandise for shipment.
- Route incoming automotive parts to the appropriate dealership departments.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect parts and shipments.
- Process returns, damaged merchandise, and unsold inventory.
- Organize and maintain automotive parts warehouse stock in designated storage areas.
- Operate hand trucks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment when authorized.
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts from wholesale warehouses as needed.
- Assist the Parts Department with additional shipping, receiving, and inventory duties.
