About The Position
The Shipping and Receiving Inventory Specialist handles the receipt and shipment of general merchandise, parts, and accessories. The role supports inventory accuracy and control, receives and stocks incoming inventory, and helps maintain an organized and clean inventory area. Requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Computer competency and basic math skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts experience is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Handle duties related to merchandise.
- Ship and receive departmental and/or dealership inventory.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and inventory-related records.
- Create special orders as directed by the manager.
- Notify the appropriate department when special orders or back-ordered items arrive.
- Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as directed by the supervisor.
- Help organize and maintain the cleanliness of the inventory area.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory and verify receipts against purchase orders.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
