Parts Shipper and Receiver - Audi Raleigh
About The Position
Audi Raleigh has an outstanding opportunity for a Parts Shipper & Receiver to join the Holman family. The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States. The Parts Shipper & Receiver will ascertain the type of part needed or assist the customer or technician in determining the correct part for the job at hand. This role involves reading catalogs and/or computer listings to obtain replacement part stock number, determining availability of part, ordering part if necessary, filling orders from stock, marking/logging and storing parts according to a prearranged system, receiving and filling telephone orders; may prepare customer bill or add parts to service order, etc.
Requirements
- Understand basic automotive components and systems
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Working knowledge of computers
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
- Any automotive certifications is a plus
Responsibilities
- Download incoming orders, enter into employer’s computer system and match with parts inventory.
- Obtain parts from manufacturer, outside vendors, or other dealers as needed.
- Sort and label incoming parts and store in inventory.
- Attend/complete required training and department meetings
- Regular and predictable attendance.
