Parts Shipper and Receiver - Audi Raleigh
About The Position
Audi Raleigh has an outstanding opportunity for a Parts Shipper & Receiver to join the Holman family. This role involves ascertaining the type of part needed or assisting the customer or technician in determining the correct part for the job at hand. The Parts Shipper & Receiver will read catalogs and/or computer listings to obtain replacement part stock numbers, determine availability, order parts if necessary, fill orders from stock, and mark/log and store parts according to a prearranged system. They will also receive and fill telephone orders and may prepare customer bills or add parts to service orders.
Requirements
- Understand basic automotive components and systems.
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
- Any automotive certifications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Download incoming orders, enter into employer’s computer system and match with parts inventory.
- Obtain parts from manufacturer, outside vendors, or other dealers as needed.
- Sort and label incoming parts and store in inventory.
- Attend/complete required training and department meetings.
