About The Position

This position sells a tiered portfolio of parts to customers over the counter and provides parts to the service department. The representative also places special orders for customers. The role focuses on customer service, achieving monthly sales goals, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting the Parts Department’s processes, safety, and organization.

Requirements

At least 2 years of parts experience, or equivalent sales or service experience.
Experience connecting with customers, maintaining a professional image, and establishing rapport.
Basic understanding of selling processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Experience working independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds and routinely lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to the service department and to customers at the counter or by phone.
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals by driving sales through Aftermarket promotions.
Maintain inventory integrity.
Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations and promotions.
Use computer applications including Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, the barcode system, and Dealer Business System.
Communicate, execute, and monitor Parts Department standard processes to support internal and external customer satisfaction.
Maintain positive and professional working relationships with peers, management, and support resources, with a commitment to teamwork and customer service.
Help keep the Parts Department clean and orderly.
Help maintain departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
Maintain a safe working environment and follow the company safety program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
