About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc.’s Construction & Forestry Division is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Parts Sales Counterperson I in Sparks, Nevada. The position serves as a parts resource for customers maintaining and repairing equipment, providing assistance face-to-face at the counter and over the phone. The counterperson identifies customer needs and recommends appropriate parts using product literature, specialized software systems, and knowledge of parts and equipment. The role emphasizes accurate, timely support, strong customer service, and building lasting relationships with clients. Requirements

Verifiable parts counter experience or applicable mechanical or service experience.
Basic knowledge of parts inventory.
Self-motivation and assertive drive.
Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers in person and by telephone to sell company parts and other services.
Above-average organizational skills.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
