About The Position

The Parts Retail Associate interacts with customers to assist them in purchasing automotive parts and accessories, while also supporting technicians. The role focuses on creating an exceptional buying experience that builds customer loyalty to AutoNation. Success is measured by meeting parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• Two or more years as an automotive parts professional.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and courteously assist technicians and retail customers.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail customers in a timely manner.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and enter the information into the appropriate documents and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Keep the parts department clean and orderly.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets.
