About The Position

Transteck has an immediate opening for a Parts Outside Salesperson. This position has the primary responsibility for outside parts sales and customer service. Transteck, Inc. is one of the largest Freightliner truck dealers in the United States with 14 locations and 4 body shops. They have over 200 trained technicians, over $7,000,000 in parts inventory and utilize state-of-the-art facilities. Their large size means they have the resources to provide the best in class facilities, training and equipment while working with the industry leader in large heavy duty trucks. Despite their size, their 14 locations are all small enough to provide the personal touch needed to keep employees trained and motivated.

Requirements

• Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and gross profit margin goals
• Call on customers on a regular basis (weekly/biweekly)
• Prospect for new customers
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service levels
• Provide estimates as needed
• Sell the entire dealership (service, truck sales, body shop, etc.)
• Travel with vendor reps
• Order parts as per department procedures
• On going training (OEM parts training)
• Up sell
• Perform all other duties as assigned
