About The Position

The Parts Outside Sales position is responsible for driving sales growth by actively seeking out and engaging with potential customers. This role involves promoting and selling parts and accessories to clients, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the products and services offered.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or parts industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing and potential customers to present product offerings, provide technical information, and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the parts and accessories market, including competitor activities and industry trends, to effectively position the company's products.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team and other departments to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to the needs and interests of prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales activities, customer feedback, and market conditions to management.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's products.
  • Continuously update knowledge of product features, benefits, and applications to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
