About The Position

The Parts Manager orders, ships, stages, and receives products for customers and the service team, and is responsible for inventory control at the retail location. The role assists retail customers and service technicians in identifying correct parts, prepares quotations and sales orders, and oversees the Parts team, including the Parts Helper. The position requires domestic travel and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a parts environment.
Previous supervisory and training experience.
Ability to travel domestically.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying the correct parts for their machines.
Enter parts orders.
Prepare quotations and sales orders.
Receive inventory from suppliers and stock products.
Ship products as required.
Pull orders for customers and service technicians as required.
Manage all parts inventory and inventory control at the retail location.
Provide required training for the Parts Clerk position and provide knowledge and training to service or sales staff to support the position and maintain excellent customer service.
Manage the activities of the Parts Helper and direct, coordinate, and evaluate the Parts team.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning and assigning work, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
