About The Position

Group 1 Ford & Lincoln Atlanta is seeking a qualified Parts Manager to lead its parts department. The role focuses on driving department performance, developing team members, maintaining efficient inventory operations, and supporting customers and the service department. The Parts Manager establishes departmental goals, oversees inventory and replenishment processes, manages parts pricing and wholesale orders, maintains customer relationships, and ensures a safe, policy-compliant work environment. The position requires at least four years of automotive parts management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in an automotive parts management role.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to support customers professionally and effectively.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to excel in a process-driven, structured environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish departmental goals and objectives and work toward achieving them.
• Recruit, train, motivate, coach, and monitor the performance of department team members.
• Ensure employees follow assigned work schedules and company policies concerning attendance, reporting, and tardiness.
• Oversee stock order processes to maintain efficient, timely parts replenishment.
• Ensure incoming inventory is properly checked in and placed in the correct locations.
• Maintain a balanced and accurate inventory appropriate to the needs of each designated area.
• Price parts and accessories using approved sources and ensure updates are reflected in the computer system.
• Source, quote, and process OEM wholesale parts orders for body shops, repair facilities, and other accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers through responsive service and support.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate company values in interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
