About The Position

Survival Flight is seeking a full-time Parts Department Assistant to work in its Aviation Hangar in Batesville, Arkansas. The role manages inventory, processes orders, delivers parts, and maintains records of parts and supplies. The assistant works closely with mechanics and technicians to ensure the correct parts are available. Other duties include stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and tracking shipments. The position also serves as shipping and receiving clerk for the 145 Repair Station and may occasionally involve delivering or picking up parts to and from bases. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and write English.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Able to interact successfully with co-workers.
Recognize the need for urgency.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
A clean driving record, as required for company insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

Keep shelves and parts bins organized.
Unpack and inspect incoming shipments and paperwork.
Verify information against packing lists, invoices, or other records.
Update the inventory tracking program.
Ship parts to bases and out for repair.
Assist aviation mechanics in ensuring they receive the required parts and supplies.
Assist in procuring parts and supplies from vendors.
Perform shipping and receiving clerk duties for the 145 Repair Station.
Occasionally deliver or pick up parts to and from bases as needed.
Manage inventory, process orders, deliver parts, and maintain records of parts and supplies.
Track shipments and organize storage areas.
