About The Position
Gordon Truck Centers is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Parts Delivery Drivers in Pacific, Washington. The role delivers parts to customers, supports order pulling and warehouse work as needed, maintains delivery records, and provides prompt, professional customer service. Drivers use assigned devices and company vehicles, follow safe-driving policies, and communicate customer needs and returns to the parts department. The position is classified as safety sensitive and is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; a motor vehicle records check is also required.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, insurability, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pickups, and a 24-foot box truck.
- Ability to use a computer, type, and operate a tablet and/or keyboard.
- Ability to send and receive calls and data via smartphone.
- Ability to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of repetitive bending; frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 pounds; sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, and stretching.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; a motor vehicle records check is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
- Experience driving a manual-transmission vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Deliver parts from the vehicle to customer-designated areas using assigned devices such as tablets or smartphones.
- Follow company safe-driving policies at all times.
- Assist with pulling customer orders when requested.
- Maintain accurate daily delivery logs using tablets or a computer keyboard.
- Build customer relationships through prompt and professional service.
- Communicate customer needs and returns to the parts department.
- Help in the warehouse as time allows and occasionally operate a forklift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
