About The Position

The Parts Crib Attendant will order and maintain inventory of parts as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. This role ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and enters data into the inventory system on receipts, consumption, and disbursement of parts. The attendant will also contact vendors for needed repairs, order and distribute parts for the maintenance department, and maintain stock parts and parts room in an organized and clean status. Additional duties may include assisting with mold and neck tooling changes, assisting maintenance staff with mechanical repairs, adhering to department budget, and providing weekly reports to the department manager. Other duties as assigned by management. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

Familiarity with tools and mechanical/electrical components necessary for the position.
Must be able to work with minimal supervisory oversight, attentive to detail, and be highly organized.

Nice To Haves

A High School diploma, Associates degree (or higher) in a technical field is strongly preferred.
Five (5) years related experience supporting maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
