About The Position

Responsible for managing and maintaining maintenance parts for multiple locations within the plant inventory and keeping it organized. This role involves maintaining accurate electronic inventory records and transactions, performing quality inspections of tools and fixtures, conducting cycle counts, and assisting the maintenance department with ordering supplies and optimizing inventory. The position also requires adherence to all safety procedures and practices, identifying process improvements, and performing other duties as assigned. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
Basic math skills and interpretation of data.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certified and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain maintenance parts inventory for multiple plant locations.
Keep parts inventory organized.
Maintain accurate electronic inventory records and transactions.
Perform quality inspection of tools and fixtures upon issuance and receipt.
Perform cycle counts to ensure physical inventory matches inventory records.
Work with management to order and replace damaged parts and hand tools.
Assist the maintenance department in ordering supplies and optimizing inventory.
Maintain all safety procedures and practices.
Continuously look for and identify process improvements in the assigned area of work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work reasonable mandatory overtime as required due to business needs.
