The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for dispatching correct tooling and materials to all departments as requested and placing orders as inventory is depleted. This role involves receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming tools and equipment, managing tool crib physical inventory accuracy, and maintaining database integrity. The attendant will work closely with other departments to determine tooling and material requirements, order tooling as necessary, monitor and update inventory, and designate locations for new tooling. Additionally, the attendant is responsible for the proper care and reporting of tool repair needs, handling routine problems in the tool crib, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
