About The Position

Riverton Chevrolet is looking for a Parts Counter Associate to join our fixed operations team. This role is all about people — greeting customers with a smile, helping them find exactly what they need, and making every interaction at the counter a great one. You'll also support our wholesale accounts, so a customer-first mindset that carries over to business partners is key. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills — friendly, responsive, and detail-oriented
A strong, positive team player who communicates well and pitches in wherever needed
Comfortable using computer systems for parts lookup, ordering, and inventory
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced counter environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule including rotating Saturdays
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Open to candidates at any experience level; prior dealership parts counter or wholesale experience is a plus
Experience with Dealertrack is a plus

Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk-in retail customers and internal technicians at the parts counter, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service
Look up parts using VIN and part number, and source parts through GM systems and outside vendors when needed
Bring that same customer-first approach to our wholesale accounts — processing orders, quoting pricing, and ensuring accurate, on-time fulfillment
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, both retail and wholesale, to earn repeat business
Pull, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup
Maintain accurate inventory records — receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
Collaborate closely with the service department, technicians, and fellow parts team members to keep operations running smoothly
Follow up on backorders, special orders, and returns
