About The Position

Mid-Hudson Subaru, a premier dealership within the VIP Automotive Group, is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor / Parts Counterperson / Parts Sales Specialist to join our high-performing parts department. If you have dealership parts experience, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of OEM or aftermarket parts, this is your chance to advance your automotive career with a respected dealer group.

Requirements

• Prior automotive parts or dealership parts experience (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge of parts catalogs, inventory systems, and ordering processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Weekend availability (Saturday rotation required)

Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians, retail, and wholesale customers with parts requests
• Identify and source OEM and aftermarket automotive parts
• Process parts orders, invoices, and transactions accurately
• Manage special orders, backorders, and customer follow-ups
• Handle cores, returns, and warranty parts claims
• Maintain strong phone and in-person customer service
• Cross-sell accessories and additional parts for increased sales
• Assist with inventory control, stocking, and organization
• Maintain a clean and efficient parts department
• Participate in manufacturer training and product updates
