About The Position
Steele Halifax Chrysler is seeking a Parts Advisor to join their team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be an essential part of the service experience, ensuring every vehicle is equipped with the right components and every client receives expert guidance. You will greet customers professionally, assist with parts inquiries, and provide clear, accurate information on availability, pricing, and installation. Your role will involve sourcing the right parts, coordinating orders, and supporting the service team to keep vehicles and client relationships running seamlessly. This is an opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to grow with the company.
Requirements
- Previous parts experience considered an asset.
- Strong customer service skills in person as well as over the phone
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office software
- A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- A strong attention to detail and the drive to learn
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to customers, answering questions and guiding them on parts and options
- Order and track parts for clients with ongoing vehicle repairs in a timely manner
- Communicate and work as a team with the technicians and service department to ensure the job gets done
- Accurately process parts orders
- Conduct regular inventory counts/checks
- Continue to ensure collaboration with suppliers to create mutually beneficial business relationships
