About The Position
As a Parts Advisor/Counter, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right automotive parts for their needs. This role requires a strong knowledge of automotive parts and excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred
- Knowledge of automotive parts terminology and systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with computer systems and inventory management software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the counter with parts inquiries and orders in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and source automotive parts and accessories accurately using parts catalogs and computer systems
- Manage parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts efficiently
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to fulfill parts requirements promptly
- Process sales transactions, maintain records, and prepare parts orders for pickup or delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area
