About The Position

WireScreen is a fast-growing Series A startup bringing clarity to one of the world’s most complex business landscapes. We’re building the go-to intelligence platform for navigating global supply chains and China-related risk—revealing the networks, relationships, and financial ties behind companies so our customers can see connections, remove obstacles, and make confident decisions. Backed by Sequoia Capital and Harpoon Ventures, our team includes a two-time Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist and senior engineers from Google, Twitter, and Oracle. We launched just three years ago and already have strong traction with top-tier government customers—and we’re just getting started. If you’re excited to make global systems more transparent and secure, now’s the perfect time to join us. Check out this blog from our CEO on how WireScreen traced DeepSeek’s origins back to 2023—well before it went mainstream in 2025. About the Role: As WireScreen's first partner team hire, you're a builder at heart — someone who turns strategy into results. Reporting to the Partnerships Director, you'll run business development against priority targets, deepen existing partner relationships, and build the operational infrastructure that lets the channel scale. You'll own activation end to end — getting partners onboarded and producing, closing wins within the playbook, and creating structure where little exists today. Expect to build the program, not inherit it.

Requirements

  • Strong business development and relationship execution experience — you’ve run outreach, activated partnerships, and closed deals, not just managed relationships handed to you
  • A government or defense-adjacent background, with a feel for how government buyers think and how procurement cycles and partners (primes, sub-contractors, advisory firms, distributors) operate
  • Domain expertise with a data or intelligence product — you understand data licensing, API commercialization, and why sourcing and methodology matter to sophisticated buyers
  • Highly organized, you build systems without being managed and can run BD while managing a portfolio without dropping threads
  • Sharp, professional communication skills — partner materials that are accurate and require minimal editing
  • A builder mentality — you’ve built something from scratch and are comfortable creating structure amid ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with compliance, risk, or due diligence verticals — enough to hold a credible conversation with an AML, compliance, or risk team
  • Experience with global law firms or boutique advisory and research organizations as partners or customers
  • Familiarity with government procurement vehicles such as GWACs, OTAs, GSA schedules, CLINs, and sole-source arrangements
  • China, geopolitical, or supply chain risk domain knowledge
  • Used HubSpot or a similar CRM/PRM

Responsibilities

  • Run outreach and business development against a defined target list — government primes, trusted providers, and commercial integration partners — to grow WireScreen’s reach and usage
  • Own the full activation cycle for key partners, from outreach and qualification through onboarding and first revenue
  • Expand existing relationships by identifying untapped opportunities, increasing engagement, and driving greater ROI
  • Support co-sell motions with the sales team on partner-influenced and partner-sourced deals
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for a large portion of the partner portfolio — triaging requests, coordinating deliverables, and keeping relationships on track
  • Maintain and execute the partner playbook in HubSpot: onboarding, enablement, pricing tiers, deal registration, and tracking across pipeline, usage, attribution, and renewals
  • Draft partner communications and maintain partner-facing materials such as one-pagers, methodology summaries, onboarding decks, FAQs, and pricing guides
  • Track partner health across the portfolio, surfacing issues before they escalate

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including salary, equity, and rapid growth potential
  • 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for employees
  • FSA, HSA, and 401(k) options to help you plan for healthcare expenses and retirement
  • Generous paid time off plus company-wide holidays to help you rest and recharge
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits to help you save on transit and parking
  • Hybrid office schedule designed to give you flexibility while staying connected with your team
