About The Position

SpendHound is a new software renewal management platform and service launched by YipitData. It offers a comprehensive view of software applications, contract values, renewal dates, and more, along with invoice management, renewal reminders, and expert advice. The platform helps companies save time and money on software renewals. SpendHound is free for customers as their de-identified, aggregated data is used for YipitData's market research. This role is critical for scaling SpendHound's go-to-market strategy through Private Equity partnerships, aiming to define and lead the Private Equity ecosystem, unlock new relationships, and build on existing ones. The position is remote-friendly within the US.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in partnerships (from early stage), or business development roles at a SaaS, fintech, banks, or have an Investment Banking background.
  • Consulting experience, and are excited to move into a Partnerships role at a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and onboard new partners across the Venture Capital and Private Equity landscape
  • Build strong relationships with partners across their investment and operating teams that drive mutually beneficial partnerships that grow stronger over time
  • Help define the playbook to scale the program across many possible partners
  • Develop and manage joint go-to-market strategies with partners to drive mutual value and accelerate customer acquisition, including scalable processes and playbooks for partner enablement, co-marketing, and referral workflows
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to ensure partnership initiatives are aligned and delivering results
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, building deep relationships that lead to long-term collaboration and trust
  • Track and report on partner performance, pipeline influence, and overall impact on business metrics
  • Experiment with new partnership models, incentives, and outreach strategies to drive growth
