About The Position

Just Right Reader is seeking a Partnerships Director for Alaska-based education leaders. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to help strengthen foundational literacy across Alaska, where local context is crucial. The ideal candidate will be a trusted former school or district leader with a deep understanding of Alaska's rural, remote, urban, multilingual, and Indigenous education communities. You will partner with school and district leaders to align their literacy goals with Just Right Reader's evidence-based decodable reading resources, which are grounded in the Science of Reading. This position allows you to expand your impact from a single school or district to supporting students across the entire state. The role requires an understanding of local trust, regional nuance, and practical follow-through due to the relationship-driven and geographically diverse nature of Alaska's education communities. Alaska experience is essential for success in this role. This role requires travel within the designated region.
