Primary Focus: The primary focus of the Partner Operations Manager is business process improvement with the primary objective of reducing costs and increasing efficiency to assigned areas. They contribute to developing recommendations for process design changes for improvement in internal control systems, business objectives, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial controls, costing, process design and re-engineering, and medium to large project management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is required; line management in an operating environment is a plus.
  • Mastery skill level of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio tools; must be skilled in high-level statistical and financial analysis disciplines.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience leading large cross-function teams and driving consensus among colleagues; ability to lead, motivate, influence, and drive to results in a highly matrixed environment is essential.
  • Ability to motivate colleagues to peak performance and establish credibility with key decision makers.
  • Ability to think abstractly and take calculated risks to improve business performance.
  • Ability to multi-task, respond to rapid change, manage projects, manage detail, manage relationships and resources.
  • Set realistic and achievable goals/objectives and timelines.
  • Ability to make significant contributions to process and systems.
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) required
  • Minimum 5 years’ functional experience including a minimum of 3 years’ specific experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and demonstrated previous use of Six Sigma and DMAIC (or similar), LEAN and/or Kaizen principles and methodologies desired.
  • Additional experience in project or program management of medium to large sized, complex, and enterprise accounts strongly preferred.
  • bachelor’s degree preferred (or additional relevant experience in a related field).

Responsibilities

  • Maximize efficiencies and effectiveness of workgroup business processes.
  • Focus on strategic projects that enable process improvement (reseller or vendor facing)
  • Collaborate effectively with process stakeholders to develop support initiatives and strategies to maximize profitability and the customer experience.
  • Provide second level escalation support for tool and systematic related issues.
  • Provide leadership and focus (leveraging the strengths of the team and each team member)
  • Utilize activity metrics to support efficiencies and align them with sales goals and wanted behaviors.
  • Create an environment of accountability, responsibility, and collaboration.
  • Create strategic plans for the support team in conjunction with strategic sales plans in alignment with customer needs and IM value proposition.
  • Provide thought leadership and effective collaboration with partner shared services and other stakeholder organizations.
