About The Position

Vox Media is seeking a Manager of Podcast Partner Operations to be the operational backbone of its podcast advertising business. This role involves owning the end-to-end execution of advertising campaigns across Vox Media's podcast portfolio, ensuring a seamless, organized, and excellent partner experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with deep knowledge of the digital media landscape, thriving at the intersection of people, process, and media. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Ad Operations, Finance, and Show/Content teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and exceed partner expectations.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in media operations, campaign management, advertising operations, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of the podcast and digital video industry, including how advertising is sold, executed, and measured across sponsorship formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and systems from the ground up in a fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly and diplomatically with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, or similar) and comfort working with data and reporting.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational lead across all post-sale podcast advertising campaign activations, owning the workflow from signed IO to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Ad Operations, Finance, and Show Editorial to ensure all campaign elements are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor campaign deliverables pacing, flag issues proactively, and drive resolution to ensure delivery goals are consistently met.
  • Own campaign wrap reporting and partner-facing delivery summaries.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for podcast partners post-sale, providing a best-in-class experience throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and clear communication.
  • Proactively manage partner expectations, communicate timelines and milestones, and handle escalations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve standardized operating procedures for campaign management and partner communications.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and design scalable solutions that improve team velocity without sacrificing quality.
  • Build and maintain internal tracking systems, project management tools, and templates that keep the team organized and aligned.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the internal Sales organization, supporting them in campaign delivery, client communications, and renewals.
  • Collaborate with Sales on pre-sale conversations where operational feasibility or timelines are relevant.
  • Provide Sales with clear, timely updates on campaign status and act as a bridge between Sales and execution-side teams.
