About The Position

Avalara is looking for a Senior Partner Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of partner marketing programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth across Avalara’s partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Partner Marketing, you are responsible for executing multi-channel, partner-led campaigns aligned to partner type, tier, and regional priorities. You will collaborate closely with Partner Management, Revenue Marketing, and Strategic Alliances to deliver full-funnel programs that generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and strengthen partner engagement. This is a remote, US based position.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, with 3–5 years in partner marketing, demand generation, or channel marketing within a SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of experience executing partner marketing programs that contribute to pipeline generation and revenue outcomes
  • Understanding of partner marketing motions, including referral, co-sell, and co-marketing programs
  • Experience building multi-channel campaigns using marketing and sales platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and webinar/event tools (e.g., ON24)
  • Familiarity with applying AI tools for segmentation, targeting, and campaigns
  • Experience using AI and AI-related technologies
  • Ability to apply AI every day to business challenges - improving efficiency, contributing solutions, and driving results for your team, our company, and our customers
  • Curiosity about new trends and best practices in AI, and willingness to share learnings

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement partner marketing campaigns aligned to partner segment, tier, and regional priorities, ensuring messaging reflects partner offerings and joint value propositions
  • Collaborate with Partner Managers and team members to build full-funnel campaign strategies that promote awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Manage multi-touch partner campaigns, managing deliverables, and content milestones to ensure high-quality launches
  • Develop and implement partner channel strategies by segment or partner type, aligning campaign motions (e.g., referral, co-sell, co-marketing) to our goals
  • Manage in-channel activation plans for assigned campaigns, ensuring targeting, cadence, and sequencing align with partner expectations and program goals
  • Monitor and optimize campaign inputs to improve conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and overall program effectiveness
