Onebrief•St. Louis, MO
•$150,000 - $180,000

About The Position

Onebrief is hiring a Partner Engagement Manager to serve as a trusted technical partner to the customer and a subject-matter expert on the company’s platform. The role requires power-user-level product fluency and staying current on product updates, then translating new releases into practical impact for customer workflows. The manager is the primary communication link between the customer and Onebrief, providing ongoing, role-specific training to support adoption and explaining product behavior in terms customer staff can act on. The position bridges the technical gap between product engineering and the customer, supports operational planning and exercises, identifies workflow and adoption gaps, and coordinates incident response. It also works with fellow Partner Engagement Managers to synchronize planning and workflows across commands and helps enable expansion and upsell opportunities to Allies and Partners. The role requires a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI, access to DOD facilities and installations, and up to 50% travel.

  • Exposure to large staff planning through Professional Military Education or military service experience.
  • Familiarity and experience with major military planning exercises and protocols for software deployment on classified networks.
  • Proven ability to expand a business presence within a customer location, with an emphasis on software or technology solutions.
  • Experience providing customer support face-to-face and remotely, including coordinating incident response with customers and product engineering teams.
  • Strong technical skills to master the application, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with customers on technical matters.
  • Proven ability to navigate large government organizations, solve bureaucratic challenges, and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and ability to access DOD facilities and installations.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical aptitude and ability to become a product power user and discuss engineering matters with customers; coding is not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including developing rapport, aligning diverse perspectives, and communicating with clarity and influence.
  • Strong commitment to the company’s mission.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work autonomously or in cross-functional teams in fast-paced or ambiguous settings.
  • Clear, concise, and candid communication, including assessing account situations and making recommendations that inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicate user needs to the product team, maintain high product proficiency, and build customer enthusiasm for product improvements.
  • Understand, request, and effectively leverage company resources to meet company goals.
  • Lead or support exercises.
  • Use observations of users to recommend product improvements.
  • Identify gaps between existing directorate workflows and effective Onebrief usage, and drive adoption through hands-on configuration, user coaching, and workflow optimization.
  • Coordinate with customers and the product engineering team when responding to incidents, including when the product is unavailable, broken, or not meeting customer expectations.
  • Align the team’s efforts to deliver a strong customer experience and coordinate with fellow Partner Engagement Managers so planning and workflows remain synchronized across commands.
  • Enable expansion and upsell opportunities to Allies and Partners by communicating the Onebrief value proposition.
  • Provide ongoing, role-specific training to help users adopt new capabilities as the product evolves.
  • Translate product updates and behavior into practical guidance relevant to the customer’s workflows.
