Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Therapist, Behavioral Health
About The Position
Sycamore Springs is hiring a full-time Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Therapist. The therapist conducts individual and group therapy for patients experiencing psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems; participates in treatment planning; provides family counseling; communicates with clients, families, and referral sources; and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Applicants must have a master's degree in social work or counseling, prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients, and a current unencumbered clinical license under the applicable state guidelines. CPR and CPI certification are required within 30 days of employment. Flexible hours may be required.

Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients about psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
- Actively participate in the treatment planning process.
- Provide family session counseling to support appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
- Communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff.
