About The Position

The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture is seeking a part-time student office assistant to provide essential support to the school by assisting with day-to-day operational tasks, including printer maintenance, presentation setup and takedown, and general office duties. This position is ideal for a student seeking flexible, part-time work in a professional environment while developing practical skills in office administration and technical support. Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of office equipment (printers, copiers, AV equipment).
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25 lbs.) as needed.
Punctuality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Printer Maintenance & Support Monitor office printers for functionality and supply levels (toner, paper, etc.).
Troubleshoot common printer issues (e.g., paper jams, connectivity problems).
Coordinate with IT or service vendors for repairs or advanced troubleshooting.
Presentation Setup & Take down Set up projectors, screens, microphones, and other AV equipment for meetings and presentations.
Arrange and organize seating or materials as needed for events.
Assist with take down, equipment storage, and room reset after events.
General Office Support Greet visitors and provide basic information or assistance.
Assist with filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
Maintain organized and clean common areas (conference rooms, supply areas, etc.).
Run errands on campus (e.g., mail delivery, supply pickup).
Other Duties as Assigned Support staff with special projects or tasks as needed.
