Part-Time Stocker
About The Position
The Night Stocker receives, stocks, organizes, and replenishes merchandise throughout the Crossings Convenience Store during overnight operations. The role ensures shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays are stocked; inventory is rotated appropriately; and the store is clean, organized, and ready for customers each morning. The position works independently overnight and supports inventory management, deliveries, sanitation, and general store operations while maintaining a safe, customer-ready environment. This is a regular part-time, non-exempt position at the Crossings Convenience Store in Oakhurst, California. The shift is overnight, with the schedule determined by business needs. The salary range is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus an applicable night shift differential of $1.50 per hour. The position requires a high school diploma or GED. Six months of relevant experience is preferred. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods; lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive physical work. The employee may work for extended periods in refrigerated environments at approximately 40°F. Overnight, weekend, holiday, and overtime availability is required as needed. Candidates must pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Six months of retail, stocking, warehouse, grocery, or related experience preferred.
- Previous convenience store, grocery, retail, or warehouse experience.
- Experience with inventory control and merchandising.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment.
- Experience working overnight or graveyard shifts.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize deliveries.
- Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays with merchandise.
- Rotate inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices.
- Remove expired, damaged, or discontinued products from inventory.
- Face merchandise and maintain organized, attractive displays.
- Maintain clean, orderly stockrooms and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
- Perform general cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged merchandise.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise when needed.
- Support cashiering or other store operations as business needs require.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
- Work in refrigerated environments, including exposure to approximately 40°F temperatures for extended periods as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
