About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a part-time Route Merchandiser to service stores such as The Home Depot and Lowe's in Lewis Center, Westerville, Powell, Columbus, and surrounding areas. The role involves regular travel throughout the assigned territory, approximately 20–25 hours per week, and offers a flexible schedule and paid, hands-on weekday training. Compensation is $16.00–$18.00 per hour. The Route Merchandiser independently visits assigned stores to merchandise products, build displays, execute planograms and seasonal resets, maintain inventory accuracy, and help keep stores well-presented. The representative works with store personnel and customers, supports product replenishment, and represents Signature Retail Services and its client partners professionally. Candidates need a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license and current auto insurance, and a smartphone with communication and internet access. The role includes frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, ladder use, and lifting or moving products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Live within approximately 30 minutes of the assigned territory.
Provide proof of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
Have access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel between assigned store locations.
Have a smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access for daily communication and reporting.
Be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use ladders.
Be able to regularly lift and move materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, motor vehicle record review, and verification of employment eligibility.

Previous merchandising experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Travel independently throughout an assigned territory using a personal vehicle to service designated store locations.
Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
Install price labels, point-of-purchase materials, fixtures, and displays to enhance product visibility and presentation.
Down-stock merchandise, maintain shelf conditions, and ensure products are fully stocked and customer-ready.
Work with store personnel to assess inventory levels, recommend replenishment needs, and place product orders as needed.
Provide knowledgeable product support to store associates and customers, answer questions, and share product information.
Maintain a professional presence while representing Signature Retail Services and its client partners in stores.
Complete additional tasks as assigned to support business objectives.
