About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a part-time Route Merchandiser to service stores in Lewis Center, Westerville, Powell, Columbus, and surrounding areas. The role involves regular travel throughout the assigned territory and approximately 20–25 hours of work per week. The schedule is described as flexible, and paid, hands-on weekday training is provided; previous merchandising experience is not required. The position pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour. The representative travels independently to designated stores, including The Home Depot and Lowe’s, to merchandise products, execute planograms and resets, maintain inventory accuracy, and support product presentation. Candidates need to live within approximately 30 minutes of the territory and use a reliable personal vehicle for travel between stores. The job includes frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and ladder use, as well as regularly lifting and moving materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Employment is contingent on completing applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, motor vehicle record review, employment eligibility verification, and other screenings. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Live within approximately 30 minutes of the assigned territory.
Provide proof of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
Have access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel between assigned store locations.
Have a smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access for daily communication and reporting.
Be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use a ladder.
Be able to regularly lift and move materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Complete applicable pre-employment requirements and screenings.

Previous merchandising experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Travel independently throughout the assigned territory using a personal vehicle to service designated store locations.
Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
Install price labels, point-of-purchase materials, fixtures, and displays to improve product visibility and presentation.
Down-stock merchandise, maintain shelf conditions, and ensure products are fully stocked and customer-ready.
Work with store personnel to assess inventory levels, recommend replenishment needs, and place product orders as needed.
Provide knowledgeable product support to store associates and customers, answer questions, and share product information.
Maintain a professional presence while representing Signature Retail Services and its client partners in stores.
