About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a mission-driven Optometrist to join our mobile clinical team in Evansville, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who values meaningful patient interactions, flexible scheduling, and low-frequency supplemental work. The role involves providing comprehensive eye exams to residents in long-term care and community-based settings, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with full support from a trained clinical assistant. You will document findings and coordinate referrals for glaucoma or other conditions outside the routine scope. This position offers independent work with predictable scheduling and no administrative burden.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Indiana license
- Comfortable working with elderly patients, including those with dementia
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Malpractice coverage (or willingness to obtain)
