About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Peoria, IL. This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity offers flexibility and professional support without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model. Clinic staff are on-site full time, providing an organized scheduling and patient flow within a coordinated, team-based care environment. This is a value-based model focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care. This is not a high-volume retail model. Our optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location. We emphasize quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Illinois optometry license
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
