About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a mission-driven Optometrist to join our mobile clinical team in Evansville, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who values meaningful patient interactions, flexible scheduling, and low-frequency supplemental work. This role involves providing comprehensive eye exams to residents in long-term care and community-based settings, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with full support from a trained clinical assistant. The optometrist will document findings and coordinate referrals for glaucoma or other conditions outside the routine scope. This position offers predictable scheduling and no administrative burden.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Indiana license
- Comfortable working with elderly patients, including those with dementia
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Malpractice coverage (or willingness to obtain)
