About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is a neighborhood go-to oil change spot with over 35 years of experience, known for friendly technicians, oil change expertise, and an efficient process that allows customers to stay in their vehicles. The company is looking for friendly and energetic team members, offering a "Pit Tech to President" growth path with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. This specific opportunity is for a Part-Time Oil Change Team Member, also referred to as a part-time crew member and lube tech. No experience is required as paid training is provided to teach skills like changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance. The role offers competitive pay up to $15/hr with base pay and commissions, and opportunities for quick advancement within the company.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, change oil filter
- Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect and top off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
