This specific opportunity is for a Part-Time Oil Change Team Member, also referred to as a part-time crew member and lube tech. No experience is required as paid training is provided to teach skills like changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance. The role emphasizes a willingness to learn, hard work, and a positive attitude, with potential earnings up to $15/hr including base pay and commissions. Many successful lube technicians joined with no prior experience, coming from various backgrounds like servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, and landscapers. The company supports rapid advancement, with over 90% of Shop Managers starting as lube techs.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Willingness to learn

• Bring a positive attitude to the shop

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
