About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change, a company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking friendly and energetic Part-Time Oil Change Team Members. The company prides itself on its efficient oil change process, allowing customers to stay in their vehicles. This role, also referred to as a lube technician, requires no prior experience as paid training is provided. Successful candidates will learn to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades and air filters, check tire pressure, and conduct other light maintenance services. Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, change oil filter
- Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect and top off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
