Part-Time NOC Shift Caregiver at Assisted Living Facility
About The Position
Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to provide excellent, personalized care for residents in our assisted living facility. Our caregivers focus on both accurate care and enriching personal interactions, contributing to our mission of "Honor God by serving others with love and compassion." This role involves working one-on-one with residents to assist with activities of daily living, occasional light housekeeping, escorting to meals, medication management, and other assisted living services. Caregivers are on campus 24/7 to provide these services and respond to emergencies.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Ability to pass a basic physical exam.
- Seek excellence in care, even in the little things.
- Maintain professionalism in following HIPAA standards.
- Promote resident dignity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a professional caregiver for seniors.
- Similar experience (e.g., helping a senior family member, caregiving for a different age group) can accelerate the training process.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Perform occasional light housekeeping for residents.
- Escort residents to and from meals.
- Provide medication management services.
- Perform other various assisted living services as needed.
- Respond to resident emergencies.
