About The Position

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to provide excellent, personalized care for residents in our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will not only provide accurate care but also engage in enriching personal interactions with residents, contributing to our mission of "Honor God by serving others with love and compassion." This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication management, meal preparation, laundry, escorting, and providing general support to ensure residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. The position requires comfort with an active role, walking across a large campus, and responding to resident needs promptly. Reliability, teamwork, and patience are essential qualities for this role.

Requirements

Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam.
Commitment to seeking excellence in care.
Maintain professionalism in following HIPAA standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
Comfortable being active, walking across the campus, and using golf carts.

Prior experience in care-giving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing and grooming.
Assist residents with showers.
Manage resident medications.
Perform light meal preparation.
Assist with resident laundry.
Escort residents to and from the dining room and activities around the campus.
Provide general support to help residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.
Engage in enriching personal interactions with residents.
Respond to resident needs across a large campus area.
