Part-Time NOC Shift Caregiver at Assisted Living Facility
About The Position
We're looking for compassionate and dependable individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those struggling with a temporary set-back or with the regular difficulties of aging. Our team of caregivers seek not only accurate care but also enriching personal interactions for our residents. Residents and their families often comment that they love our staff's friendliness and dedication -- and we're looking for more people who share that mindset. Caregivers work mostly one-on-one with our residents to assist with activities of daily living, occasional light housekeeping for residents, escorting to/from meals, medication management services, and other various assisted living services as needed. We have caregivers on campus 24/7 to provide these services and to respond to resident emergencies.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam
- Must seek excellence in care, even in the little things we do for residents
- Must maintain professionalism in following HIPAA standards and in promoting resident dignity
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a professional caregiver for seniors is not required, though similar experience (e.g. helping a senior family member, caregiving for a different age group) can accelerate the training process.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
