About The Position

A warm and welcoming family in Meadow Vista, CA 95722 is seeking a dependable, engaging, and nurturing nanny to care for their two children, ages 16 months and 7 years. The primary focus of this role will be caring for the toddler while providing occasional support for the older child when needed. The parents work from home in separate office spaces. The home is located in a rural area; reliable personal transportation is required. The home includes 7 friendly indoor cats.

Requirements

• Prior childcare experience with young children
• Reliable vehicle and transportation
• CPR certification or willingness to renew certification
• Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Additional language skills or sign language experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for a 16-month-old toddler, including play, reading, diapering, meals, and nap routines
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate, screen-free activities
• Support the older child as needed when home from school or camp
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
• Assist with light household tasks related to the children's care, including dishes, laundry, tidying common areas, and light cleaning
