Full Time Nanny / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, fun, and flexible individuals to join their on-call team as a back-up nanny. This role is ideal for those with experience as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer, as well as retired teachers. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing individuals to balance work with school, family, or other part-time commitments. As a back-up nanny, you will care for children in their homes, focusing on safety and leading hands-on, age-appropriate activities. No household duties beyond cleaning up after your activities or meals with the child are required, and transportation of children is not expected. The highest demand is for care of children under the age of 2.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor

Responsibilities
- Care for children in-home.
- Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development.
- No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child.
- Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers.
