About The Position

Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented janitorial cleaner for a commercial facility. This is a part-time, Monday–Friday morning position ideal for someone seeking consistent weekday hours with afternoons and weekends available.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual
• Can consistently report to work by 6:00 a.m.
• Has reliable transportation
• Can work independently and manage time effectively
• Pays attention to detail
• Is comfortable performing physical cleaning duties, including bending, reaching, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash
• Can follow written cleaning procedures and client-specific instructions

Nice To Haves

• Commercial janitorial experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
• Cleaning a large meeting/event room
• Cleaning kitchen and break areas
• Vacuuming carpeted areas
• Sweeping and mopping hard-surface floors
• Cleaning entrances and high-traffic areas
• Emptying trash and replacing liners
• Emptying designated exterior trash receptacles
• Dusting windowsills and accessible surfaces
• Cleaning mirrors, glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Restocking restroom and building consumables
• Performing general spot cleaning as needed
• Following a scheduled cleaning rotation for lower-traffic areas
